Here is a short story on this rainy Thursday.
In Newfoundland there is a very small provincial park called Arches Provincial Park which includes some awesome looking arches that are right at the waters edge.
This was a beautiful spot but I am not sure if we will be allowed back.
The kids had a great time walking along the rocks and picked up some driftwood. Mariana had gone back to the RV and I was rounding up the kids. Up till this point, everything is normal.
Then my 8 year old, Katia, slipped and got a tiny cut on her finger. She stood up and said, “I am bleeding.” This was nothing critical but she still ran back to the RV for a bandaid.
Maya being a typical 4 year old insists on seeing everything. And if she doesn’t get her way, she yells louder and gets quite upset.
Maya began yelling to her older sister, “I want to watch you bleed.” And ran after her.
So in a matter of 2 minutes our tranquil walk turned into our 4 year old chasing her 8 year sister screaming
I wanna watch you bleed. Katia, I wanna watch you bleed.
I am not sure if I can to go back to that park.
I want to go to the park!!

This is a story to keep and retell many times, maybe at a future wedding if anyone enters the medical profession!
